NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND BOARD MEETING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Conway Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on June 17, 2025, at its regular meeting commencing at 7:00 p.m. at the Conway Township Hall located at 8015 N. Fowlerville Road, Fowlerville, Michigan 48836, to consider new general law Ordinance No. 29 entitled Consumers Energy Company Gas Franchise Ordinance, granting Consumers Energy Company the right and authority to lay, maintain, and commercially operate gas lines in the Conway Township for a period of thirty years.
Written comments concerning the ordinance may be submitted to the Conway Township Clerk at any time prior to or at the meeting. The complete text of the proposed ordinance may be examined at the Township Hall during regular Township business hours, which are Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9am-3pm, on the Township’s website, www.conwaymi.gov, or at the meeting. The Township Board reserves the right to modify or alter the proposed ordinance at or following the public hearing and to make its decision accordingly.
Conway Township will provide necessary, reasonable auxiliary aids and services at the meeting to individuals with disabilities, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio of printed materials being considered at the meeting.
